July 1984-October 1988, he acted as lawyer of criminal defense section and legal consultation section of legal consultation department in Jinan;
October 1988-October 1998, he acted as deputy director and deputy secretary of party branch of Jinan Zhongcheng Law Firm;
October 1998-May 1999, he acted as deputy director and lawyer of Jinan Luquan Law Firm;
May 1999-May 2009, he acted as director, partner and secretary of party branch of Deheng Law Group (Jinan);
May 2009 to present, he has been the chairman of partners conference, director and senior partner of Shandong MTLR Law Firm.
Professional Experience：
For more than 30 years, Huo Jianping has been working as the legal adviser of Party Committee of Shandong Province, the Government of Shandong and Jinan Municipal Party Committee. He was selected to the member of Shandong Provincial Legal Expert Database, the member of legal expert database of Jinan Municipal People's Government, the legal adviser of Jinan Public Security Bureau, the member of Zhangqiu Government’s legal expert database and Licheng Government’s legal expert database. he served as the legal adviser of more than ten enterprises and public institutions such as Post Office of Jinan, Zhongtong Bus, Rt-Mart, Shensi Electronics, etc. He was rated as the First-class Lawyer in 1999.
In 1990, he attended the 14th World Law Congress as a Chinese lawyer. In 1988, he went to France and West Germany with Shandong Economic and Trade Delegation, which he became the first lawyer in Shandong to go abroad. As the leader of the legal group of Jinan Yaoqiang Airport from 1987 to 1989, he provided legal services for the negotiation of projects with loans from the Government of Kuwait, which has a high praise received by provincial and municipal leaders of Jinan.
In 2017, Mr. Huo took the official position of Deputy District Governor of Lixia District Government of Jinan City
In August 2011, he was hired as an overseas lawyer who is the first lawyer from Shandong by Patrick Mak & Tse Solicitors in Hong Kong. In August 2012, Huo Jianping served as the President of Jinan Lawyers Association, actively guiding the overall situation of lawyers' service in the city. During his term, Jinan Lawyers Association was awarded the first place in the appraisal of social organizations in Jinan city and the title of "5A".
Mr. Huo Jianping was served as a member of the 12th and 13th CPPCC National Committee. In 2017, he was elected as a representative to the 16th People's Congress of Jinan and a member of the Legislative Affairs Committee.
From 2018 to 2020, He was elected the head of the “Private economic legal Service Group of Shandong Province” and Lawyer Services Group of “the Belt and the Road” of Shandong Province.
